My father is a highly skilled carpenter. When I was a kid, our neighbors constantly sought his help in crafting an array of things from stools and chairs to beds and tools. I was his little sidekick, always shadowing him as he worked, earning me the nickname 'The Little Carpenter'. My father was nothing short of amazing, transforming even forsaken scraps into fascinating, useful items.
My mother has been in the wooden toy industry for 25 years. Every weekend and every school vacation, I found myself in the bustling toy factory, aiding her. But what I loved the most was the magic happening in the R&D department: I saw mundane pieces of wood metamorphosing into captivating toys capable of sparking joy. My mom was like a magician, making simple toys come to life with her expert touch.
These childhood experiences ignited a passion for all things wooden. After earning my university degree, I bid farewell to the urban jungle, preferring instead the comforting embrace of my hometown. This time, I fully immersed myself in the big happy family of wooden toy-making. Although each stage of creation - from conceptualizing an idea, procuring the raw materials, sketching the design, final assembly, painting, printing to packaging and quality control - every single step, although seemingly simple, is crucial. Strict control is required in order to produce good toys that bring more joy to every child and family.
I was incredibly fortunate that my work led me to cross paths with my partner in every sense - my husband. He's a toy designer, and what stands out even more, is his deep-seated understanding of the manufacturing process.
Whether OEM/ODM products or our own design, he weaves a special kind of magic. He manages to preserve the essence of the idea, merging it with the feasible aspects of production. With his suggestions, he transforms a mere concept into a real toy, which wins the hearts of children and adults alike. Isn't that simply wonderful?
As a resident of our majestic mountains, my affection for this forest knows no bounds. And a mother of two kids, this love only grows, never diminishes. We advocate for sustainable development in order to leave a better environment for our future generations. Over the years, we've followed a strict rule - for every used tree, a new one gets planted.
The result? Our once bare lands are now lush green forests, full of life.
